Ynnari, Exodites, Corsairs, and Other Aeldari Futures
Aeldari civilization did not divide cleanly into Craftworlders and Drukhari after the Fall. This episode explores the Ynnari, Exodites, Corsairs, and other groups representing very different possibilities for the species’ future. The Ynnari follow Ynnead, the emerging Aeldari god of the dead, and seek a path that might ultimately break Slaanesh’s claim over their souls. Exodites abandoned the excesses of the ancient empire before its destruction and built difficult lives on remote maiden worlds, preserving traditions distinct from Craftworld discipline. Corsairs embrace mobility, independence, piracy, trade, exploration, or warfare outside more structured societies. Listeners will learn why these groups can interact with both Craftworld Aeldari and Drukhari while remaining culturally separate. The episode also preserves the uncertainty surrounding long-term Ynnari goals and unresolved Aeldari prophecies. In Warhammer 40,000, the species is not united around one answer to extinction.
